Account & Data Deletion Request

Submit a request to permanently delete your Buy Sell HoReCa account, profile, and associated personal data.

Irreversible Action: Deleting your account will permanently remove your profile, verified status, active marketplace listings, chat conversations, and contact sync history. This action cannot be undone.

1Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended)

If you have the BS HoReCa mobile app installed on your device, you can delete your account instantly with no waiting period:

Open the BS HoReCa mobile app.
Navigate to the Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
Tap Settings (gear icon), then select Data & Privacy.
Tap Delete Account & Associated Data at the bottom.
Confirm the verification prompt to delete immediately.

2Web / Email Deletion Request (Without App Installed)

If you uninstalled the mobile app or cannot access your account, you can initiate a manual deletion request by sending an email from your registered email address or mentioning your registered phone number.

Required Information in Email:

Subject: Permanent Account Deletion Request
Your Registered Phone Number (used during OTP login)
Your Full Name or Business Name on the platform
Confirmation statement: "I confirm that I wish to permanently delete my account and all associated data on BS HoReCa."

What Data is Deleted vs Retained?

Data Permanently Deleted

Firebase authentication user record
Profile information (name, headline, bio, city)
All equipment, setup & business listings
Direct messages and chat media
Synced contact book hashes and matching records

Legal & Financial Retention

Tax & GST compliance transaction records (retained as required by Indian Law)
Fraud prevention logs (retained in hashed/anonymized form)
Standard processing timeframe: Completed within 30 days of verified request
